The project has adopted two villages of 7,000 people in Bangladesh. The villages were identified as being poor by Bangladeshi standards. Phase One provided access to clean drinking water & sanitation facilities. The second phase concentrates on income generation, vocational training, health & hygiene, and emergency response preparation.
