Partners for a Malaria-Free Zambia, the 2020-21 award recipient for Rotary's Programs of Scale grant trains, equips, and supports community health workers to conduct assessments and treatments, strengthening the health system's ability to respond to malaria cases and prevent transmission. To implement the program, the Rotary Club of Federal Way, Washington, USA, is partnering with World Vision, Malaria Partners International, Malaria Partners Zambia, PATH Malaria Control and Elimination Partnership in Africa, the Zambian government’s National Malaria Elimination Centre, provincial health leaders, and Rotary members in Zambia.
